Happy New Year! I've been horrible at sharing recipes this past year. With some big changes in my life, it got put on the back burner. I hope to do better in 2026 as well as publish a cookbook. Be on the look-out! In the meantime, let's check out what recipes you've been making most this past year. Each recipe is linked to its page so you can check it out.

Then, just for fun, I'm also going to share my all-time top recipe posts since GF Kiddos was started. Some recipes stand the test of time, becoming beloved classics that continue to delight. Some may be forgotten favorites that you will want to revisit. Either way, I hope you find something that calls to you and try it out soon!

Top Recipes of 2025

  1. Spiced Peach Salad

Love this! Still a go-to for special occasions. The cinnamon and cloves give it a definite holiday vibe.

  1. German Apple Pudding

A great dessert that is cozy and almost magical. You start with the cake batter on the bottom and apples on top, then they swap places while baking!

  1. Mother Goose Popcorn

A fun recipe for holidays that can be made any color. It's unique sugary coating makes it a favorite at our house.

  1. Potato Kielbasa Skillet

One of my favorite 30-minute meals that is as satisfying as it is delicious.

  1. The Best Soft Caramels

Christmas would not be Christmas without these gems. Buttery, soft, and perfect!

  1. Pistachio Salad

A side dish that comes together in under 5 minutes. A little fruity, a little nutty, and super creamy!

  1. Raspberry Jello Salad

A recipe from my grandma that is as pretty as it is yummy!

  1. 7up Salad

Made with soda mixed into the pineapple gelatin layer, it has a fun fizzy taste. The topping is to die for. It's like a delicious and light homemade pineapple pudding. Top the whole thing with a sprinkling of cheddar cheese..... and you will not believe the awesome combination of flavors! Just trust me on this.

  1. The Best Hot Dog Sauce

It makes me laugh that this is so popular. It really is the best sauce to put on hot dogs and we never go without a squeeze bottle of it in the fridge.

Drum Roll please.......... your favorite recipe this year is:

  1. Chocolate Magic Cookies

These cookies are truly magical because they have no flour and create the coolest texture for a cookie. The outside is thin and crispy, and the inside is chewy and gooey!

Top Recipes Since GF Kiddos Began

  1. Creamed Chicken Over Biscuits

Comfort food at its finest! Similar to chicken pot pie, but with biscuits instead of pie crust.

  1. Cherry Bing Bars

If you love the combination of cherry and chocolate, this homemade candy is a must-try. One of my favorites that I make every Christmas.

  1. Whoopie Pies

These pies are humungous in both size and enjoyability. We love to wrap them and keep a stash in the freezer for future cravings.

  1. Cinnamon Roll Cake

An easy and delicious alternative to labor intensive cinnamon rolls. All the flavor, less time and effort!

  1. 7up Salad

A repeat recipe that has been a favorite for many years! I'm so glad so many have gained a love for this family recipe.

  1. Patriotic Fruit Pizza

A grand finale to any 4th of July BBQ!

  1. The Best Soft Caramels

Another repeat. Once you make these and find out how doable homemade caramels are, you'll love trying other kinds I have on my blog like these Chocolate Caramels and these Cinnamon Caramels.

  1. Chocolate Magic Cookies

The favorite of 2025, and for good reason. I mean, they are magical people!

  1. Scotcharoos

A classic combination of peanut butter, butterscotch, and chocolate in rice crispy treat form!

And the most visited recipe on GF Kiddos over the past 5 years.......

  1. Creamy Black Bean Salsa

This salsa is a meal in itself. I can eat it by the spoonful!
