Valentines Day Charcuterie Board

Putting together a board or platter for a special occasion or holiday is such a fun way to be creative! The thing I love about it is that kids will eat up whatever you come up with. Valentine's day is a great time to make a LOVE board with all things red, white and pink. It would be fun to have at a party or gathering, or just prepare one for the family to make the holiday a little more special.

For this board, I used a heart shaped cutter to make hearts with cheese. I also sliced an apple into thin slices, and used the heart cutter to cut out the core and seeds on each slice. I like to soak my cut apples in lemon-lime soda. It helps them not turn brown, and also tastes fresh and fun!

For the savory, I had pepperoni slices, crackers, and Swiss cheese. I then added hulled strawberries, raspberries and apple slices for the fruit.

For the sweet, I used some delicious Lemon Cheesecake Twists from Perfection Snacks. They are so amazing! You could use any type of white covered gluten free pretzel. I also added some red Sixlets and some pink and silver Hershey kisses and hugs. Very appropriate for a Valentines Day celebration.

Any way you make a board, it will be fun to put together AND eat!
