Candy Corn Fruit Cups

This is such a fun and easy Halloween side dish or snack! We like to keep things simple on Halloween night so the kids can eat a quick, healthy-ish dinner, then head out to trick-or-treat and get their boat loads of candy. For years we've served L'il Smokies, nachos, and these fruit cups. Easy to assemble, and just the right colors to resemble a candy corn. It's amazing how something so simple will light up kids faces. The combination of pineapple, mandarin oranges, and cream is delightful!

Candy Corn Fruit Cups

Serves 4

1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained

1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained

Spray whipped topping cream

Clear cups for serving

Candy corns, optional

In a clear cup, layer pineapple, then mandarin oranges. Just before serving, spray the tops with whipped cream and top with a candy corn if desired.

Step-by-step tutorial:

Gather your ingredients. You will need a can of pineapple chunks, a can of mandarin oranges, some spray whipped cream, and clear cups for serving. You can easily double this, as well as use fresh pineapple and orange segments if you wish. Drain the fruit.

Assemble the fruit cups by dividing the pineapple into four clear cups. Next divide the mandarin oranges on top of the pineapple.

When ready to serve, top with spray whipped cream. Kids love to do this part on their own if you can handle them eating more cream than fruit. Haha.

We top ours with one candy corn just to finish off the fun look! Kids really go for these, and to be honest, I love the combination of pineapple, oranges, and cream. So delightful!
