Orange Cream Fruit Salad

I love a good fruit salad that is so delicious, it could be dessert too! This fruit bowl is covered in the most scrumptious orange cream dressing. You can change up the type of fruit, but this works great with a mix of canned fruit and fresh fruit. The citrus makes it taste so fresh and unique. You are going to love this!

Orange Cream Fruit Salad

Serves 6-8

1 (15 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained

1 (15 oz.) can peach slices, drained and cut into bite size pieces

1 (15 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained

1 apple, cut into chunks

3 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate

3 tablespoons milk

2 tablespoons sour cream

1 (5 oz.) package instant vanilla pudding

In a large bowl, combine fruits and mix gently. In a separate bowl, combine orange juice concentrate, milk, sour cream, and pudding mix. Fold into fruit mixture. Cover and refrigerate for several hours before serving.

Step-by-step tutorial:

Gather your ingredients. You will need 3 cans of fruit (I like the combination of chunk pineapple, peaches, and mandarin oranges), and about 1 cup fresh fruit (I used an apple, but bananas, grapes, or berries are also good). For the orange cream dressing you will need some frozen OJ concentrate, milk, sour cream, and a large box of instant vanilla pudding.

Prepare your fruit by chopping and draining. Gently stir all fruit together in a large bowl.

To make the orange cream, combine 3 tablespoons frozen OJ concentrate, 3 tablespoons milk, 2 tablespoons sour cream, and the pudding mix. It will make a thick mixture.

Fold the orange cream into the fruit. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until ready to serve.

The creamy orange dressing is so fresh and vibrant on fruit! Like I said, this could almost pass as dessert!

Definitely feel free to change up the fruit used to your favorites or what you have on hand. This orange cream dressing tastes wonderful with all fruits. You are going to love this side dish and so will your family!
