You know those recipes that are so simple but have such incredible flavor? That's this sauce! It really takes a bowl of fruit up a notch. Made with four simple ingredients that just WORK so well together. It would be delicious over a waffle or pancakes too.
Honey Yogurt Sauce for Fruit
3/4 cup vanilla yogurt
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel (about 1/2 of an orange)
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Spoon or pour over fruit.
Gather your ingredients. You need vanilla yogurt (you can use regular or Greek yogurt; I even used a light yogurt, and it works great), honey, an orange, and almond extract.
Combine 3/4 cup yogurt, 1 tablespoon honey, 1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel, and 1/4 teaspoon almond extract in a bowl. Stir until smooth,
Depending on the thickness of your yogurt, you can either spoon this sauce over fruit, or pour it. Either way works!
Once you taste it, you'll be going back for another spoonful!
