Honey Butter Skillet Corn

I'm always looking for yummy ways to help certain kids (you know who you are) eat more vegetables. This side dish is so fast and super delicious! Think of how amazing cornbread smothered in honey butter is, and that's the thought behind this recipe creation. A little sweet, and a little salty, anyone who doesn't want seconds of this is sadly missing out!

Honey Butter Skillet Corn

Serves 4

2 tablespoons salted butter

2 tablespoons honey

1 (16 oz.) bag frozen corn

2 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

In a skillet, melt butter and honey over medium-high heat. Once melted, add the frozen corn and cook until heated through and most of the moisture is absorbed. Add the cream cheese and continue to cook while stirring, until the cream cheese is melted and coats the corn. Add the salt and pepper. Serve immediately.

Step-by-step tutorial:

Gather your ingredients. You will need frozen corn, butter, honey, cream cheese, and salt and pepper.

In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons honey over medium high heat. Once melted, add the frozen corn (no need to thaw!).

Cook and stir the corn for about 7-8 minutes or until the moisture is all absorbed and corn is heated through. Add 2 ounces of softened cream cheese. Continue to cook while stirring until the cream cheese is melted and coats the corn.

Put in a bowl and serve immediately.

If you have picky eaters that don't care for corn, this is definitely a good recipe to try. If you love corn like me, you will fall in love with this dish! The perfect side to compliment any meal.
