Step-by-step tutorial:

Gather your ingredients. You will need a sweet onion, garlic, olive oil, eggs, heavy cream, meat of choice (bacon, ham, sausage, chicken), and cheddar cheese. You can also add other vegetables such as peppers or mushrooms in place or in addition to the meat.

In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil; add 1/2 of large onion, chopped and 2 teaspoons minced garlic. Saute until translucent and tender. In a large mixing bowl beat together 6 eggs and 3/4 cup heavy cream. Add 2 cups bacon (or other breakfast meat).

Add 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese and cooked onion and garlic. Stir to combine. Pour into a greased 9-inch pie dish.

Bake at 375°F for 35-40 minutes or until golden on top and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Slice and enjoy! It slices so nicely and is incredible right out of the oven!

We like to eat it with some salsa, hashbrowns, and fruit smoothies. Breakfast of champions!
