Sweet and Sour Meatballs

2 (16 oz.) bags frozen gluten free meatballs

1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce

Add meatballs to a slow cooker. Whisk together the chili sauce and jelly until combined. It will be lumpy. Pour over meatballs, cover, and cook on low for 2-4 hours. Serve over rice, noodles, or potatoes.

Step-by-step tutorial:

Don't you love meals that taste incredible with minimal effort? That is definitely the case with this recipe. All you need are three ingredients. Your favorite frozen gluten free meatballs (we love the Wegmans brand), a bottle of chili sauce (Heinz makes one, as does Walmart), and a jar of grape jelly.

Place your meatballs in a slow cooker. Whisk together the chili sauce and jelly. It will be lumpy because of the jelly, but that's ok. As it cooks it will all become the best sweet and sour sauce you've ever eaten! Pour the sauce over the meatballs.

Stir to coat all the meatballs. Cover and cook on low for 2-4 hours. Because the meatballs are already cooked, we are just warming them. You could even do it in a saucepan if you'd like. I feel like the longer they simmer, the better they taste.

Serve over rice (we love them with brown rice), pasta, or mashed potatoes. They are scrumptious. Served with a fruit and vegetable, you've got yourself a wonderful meal that will be absolutely kiddo-approved!
