2 cups vanilla ice cream
Caramel sauce for drizzling
Freshly grated nutmeg

Step-by-step tutorial:
Gather your ingredients. You will need fresh apple cider (which is abundant in the fall!), vanilla ice cream, a cinnamon stick, caramel ice cream sauce, and fresh nutmeg.
First, heat the apple cider with the cinnamon stick. You can do this in a saucepan or in a glass measuring cup in the microwave. The flavor of the cinnamon stick will make the cider even more delicious. You can do different amounts depending on how many floats you are making. Just estimate about 1 cup of cider per float.
Get all of your ingredients ready to go. This float will start to melt the ice cream right away, so you don't want to dilly dally!
First add scoops of ice cream to your glasses, then pour over the hot apple cider to desired level. Top with a drizzle of caramel sauce and grate some fresh nutmeg on top.
So many good flavors going on here! You'll want to have a spoon AND a straw.
This is a fun dessert to serve because who doesn't love an ice cream float? But I bet most people haven't tried this version. It will put you in the fall mood for sure!
